IT-related Resources:
1.) Introduction/Tutorial to the Outlook Web Access Email system (June 2008)
(5/29/08) CTAP7 has shared some interesting technology oriented resources:
- CTAP's tips for using Advanced Google Searches on sciences and other educational topics (ie. Microscopes, Cell Division, Golgi Body, etc)
- Free PowerPoint Presentations on all kinds of educational topics (ie. Biology/Chemistry/Math/English/History/Physics/etc)
- Mathrax = A free Math graphing tool developed by NASA (accessible from all student classroom computers & MS Lab)
- Scratch = A new interactive programming language developed by MIT (accessible from all student classroom computers & MS Lab)
- TimezAttackz = Basic Version of a Math Learning Game designed for the K-8 levels (accessible from all ES Lab computers)
Instructional/Educational Resources:
1.) FCOE Portal - The first resource website that you will need to visit on a regular basis (hosted by our Fresno County Office of Education). You will need a login account (which is usually the same as your email login) but may have a different password. You do not need to remember your password since there is a "very easy to figure out" password reminder. Recommended for both Teachers & Staff.
2.) CTAP 7 - California Technology Assistance Program (Region 7). Very useful to get all kinds of information, including Grants/Funding, State Projects, Trainings/Workshops, etc. Recommended for both Teachers & Administrators.
3.) Atomic Learning - A great site (partially free) to view a lot of Computer Training videos that includes Microsoft Office, etc. Recommended for Teachers, Staff, Administrators, & Students.
4.) DataPigTechnologies.com - Yet another great site (partially free too) to view a lot of Computer Training videos. Recommended for Teachers, Staff, Administrators & Students.
5.) Starfall - One of the best Early Reading Comprehension website for the young learners. Recommended for Pre-K, Kinder, Grades 1 & 2
5.) HSTutorials.net - A great site to view Free Animated Lessons designed for HighSchool & MiddleSchool classes. Covers a wide variety of topics. Recommended for Middle School Teachers.
6.) CybersmartCurriculum - Curriculum resources designed for Integration of Technology in the classroom. Recommended for both Teachers & Coaches.
7.) T4 Jordan School District Grade Level Resources - A comprehensive collection of online resources categorized by Grade Level. Updated regularly. Recommended for both Teachers & Coaches.
8.) Techsets - A California-state sponsored website for technology professionals in the field of Education. The login is integrated from the FCOE Portal. Recommended for both Teachers & Support Staff.
9.) TechGuideWiki - A community website that serves as a template for creating and updating district technology plans. Recommended for administrators and the Technology Committee.
